The usage of this unusual name has come under enormous attack from the wobblies (wahabies). It’s shirk they say, you can only attribute slavehood to the creator and not to the creation of the creator they say.
Now, since when has slavehood had anything to do with worship.? Didn’t the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam have slaves, which he later freed…?? didn’t the blessed sahaba have slaves..?? so when those slaves were called by “oh slave of so and so” or when it was said “the slave of so and so” were those righteous people committing shirk..?? read on…
