The Sunni Voice

It looks like it’s about a mile away, but it’s only a couple of minutes walk. Near that particular hotel, the whole area is full of bangladeshi workers, bangladeshi shops and restaurants. A mini bangla town, but sadly there was only one sylheti chap i came across. The road is directly in line with gate no.1 the king abdul aziz gate. On the right the cream and brown coloured building is a shopping centre above which are the hilton towers.

On the left where you can see construction work being carried out is part of the zam zam towers i think, which is also directly in front of gate no.1 and the female toilets entrance. The picture is obviously quite old but when i was there in july ’07 the complex was about 98% complete. Appartments being sold for £84k.
